Dr. Yung completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chinese Studies from Stanford University 1993. He is a graduate of the prestigious Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Young returned to the West Coast to complete his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University.

Dr. Yung currently maintains private practices in San Francisco and Daly City, CA.

His scope of practice encompasses all non-surgical musculoskeletal injuries with a particular emphasis on lumbar spine issues and pain management.

He performs various spinal procedures including trigger point injections, lumbar epidurals, selective nerve root blocks, SI joint injections, medial branch rhizotomies, as well as, intradiscal procedures. Although Dr. Yung is a spine and pain specialist, he believes in a holistic approach to healing, using non-narcotic medications whenever possible.

His personal sporting interests include cycling and volleyball. He speaks fluent Mandarin and Spanish and accepts the majority of worker’s compensation insurances, most major PPO insurers (United Health, Aetna, Blue Cross, and Cigna) and self-paying patients.
